home sweet home

i get completely overwhelmed by how absolutely wonderful life is.
that feelings been poppin up more and more frequently lately. EUROPE! ahhh. today barack obama spoke at the prague castle and i was surrounded by people from all over the globe, namely americans, and it was so great! while his speech was in response to north korea’s satellite launch so it wasn’t really uplifting fluffer...

but i’m spending my first weekend in 3 weekends in praha and i am pumped about it. the sun is shining, the people here are great, and there are some good vibes floating around. i have a million rambles about my life that i should be posting here but i’m pretty sure the only way i’m going to remember the funny things that happen here is via wall-to-walls and facebook messages....

we went to a beatiful opera, followed by a ridic fun bar with really wonderfully bad retro American pop music, followed by a dance party with a majority of my favorite people on my program in the undergrond basement of a dive bar for 4 hours, while jamming to techno music and being hit on by czechs who used to live in...

first impressions of praha
so despite being halfway across the globe and without my mom to call and tell all of my meaningless problems to regularly, not too much has changed. the scenary is different (in a VERY good way. it’s incredible how architecularly beautiful this city is. i feel like im living in a midevil fairy tale. i cant even pretend to grasp how beautiful its going to look once it hits spring time.)
